N'Crease Youth Ministry Article :

N'Crease Youth Ministry is spreading like wildfire.  Every Friday evening, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. we host a fellowship called "Keeping It Real," where real kids ask real questions about real life.

Recently, a youth told her best friend's mother that she does not believe in God and she said, "So stop trying to get me to go to church!" The mother replied, “Okay you don’t have to go to church but what about going to ‘Keeping It Real’?"  She said, “I’d give it a shot.”  What happened after that was a definite move of the power of God who invaded her to the point of salvation and discipleship. She now attends our monthly "Youth Explosions" and brings friends to hear about the goodness of God.

Another youth recounted the time when she came forward for prayer in the area of boldness; “I took the word of God and really began walking in it.  At work, one of my co-workers was complaining about stomach pains and I told her she was pregnant.  She didn’t believe me, but she did believe the pregnancy test.  Soon after, she became fearful of having the child because she said her parents would kill her.  I invited her to church and she really enjoyed it.  Pastor Troy Campbell closed the service and remained at the altar for people who needed prayer.  I went up to him and asked him to agree with me that my friend would change her mind about the abortion. Pastor Troy prayed with me but she still went through with the abortion.  A few weeks later my friend and I were talking at work when she informed me that she went for her post abortion check up and the doctor found the baby still alive and strong.”   Never under estimate the power of intercessory prayer and agreement. The fire of the Holy Spirit is filling our youth and God is calling you and I to grab the horns of the altar and cry out to Him in prayer, fasting, and intercession (Isaiah 59:16) for our youth.

Our August, "Youth Explosion" was nothing shy of magnificent.  Mayor Jim Dear of the City of Carson addressed our youth about the importance of maintaining a positive outlook about who they are.  Mayor Dear also offered youth who belong to Full Harvest International, and who live in Carson, an appointment to The Carson Youth Commission where they will be honored by the Mayor himself.  With this appointment, youth will be able to give voice to critical youth related issues.  N' Crease Youth Ministries continues to partner with other organizations and individuals who commit their time for the advancement of our young people.  These organizations and individuals are Councilman Bernard Parks and Know How 2 Go (Campaign For College Opportunities) to bestow Certificates Of Completion and educational scholarships, Minister Bobby Gene of Bobby Gene’s Playhouse who provided five (5) acting scholarships totaling $3,500 to youth who made it through my wife, Lady Teresa Campbell's "Baby I'm A Star" four week intensive acting boot camp.  We are already seeing the fruits of our labor as agents are now looking for our youth to sign contractual agreements so they can launch out into Hollywood and diffuse the fragrance of Christ in every place.

***On September 16th at 6:30 p.m. the theme “A September To Remember” was ministered by Pastor Troy of N’Crease Youth Ministry.  He prayed a back to school prayer for all youth and young adults upon their entry into the 2007-2008 school year.  The youth, their parents and friends agreed with Pastor Troy in an “Effective Prayer” which “availeth much” that according to Psalm 20:4-7, “The Lord is granting our youth according to their heart’s desire, fulfilling all their purpose and they are remembering the name of the Lord Our God!”

Thank you Bishop McClendon for your vision for God's people – “The field truly is the world and we are sowing our youth into it!
